Our Leadership Team
Our team has been together since purchasing the company in 2010. Since then we have seen our company grow from a state wide planting service, generally working in Virginia and Maryland, to planting all along the east coast. In that time we have also grown into a national distributer and have customers all over the country. It has been a thrill to learn about all the different projects that are being planted and, in some small way, being a part of them. Give us a call and let us know what we can do for you.
W. Lowrie Tucker (Lowrie)
President & Sales Manager
I started in this industry as a forestry technician for the USDA Forest Service. I then worked for Virginia’s Conservation Districts and County Governments, specifically in Erosion and Sediment Control. In September 2010, I joined the Conservation Services team. I spend most of my day consulting with customers, discussing and fulfilling their needs. I graduated from Emory and Henry with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and received a M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Shenandoah University. I live in Waynesboro with my wife Jillian, my son Walter and my daughter Claire. When I am not at work, I spend time with my family, visiting friends and traveling to other parts of the country on trips that generally include a visit to the national parks. Give me a call; I would love to talk about how Conservation Services can help you.
Vice President & Project Coordinator
I started working at Conservation Services, Inc. in 2012. In my position here, I work with clients in forestry consulting, planning for planting projects, site preparation, turn-key planting, and follow-up maintenance and care. I studied forestry at THE University of Virginia (that would be Virginia Tech, of course) and graduated in 2003. Since then, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience working in tree forestry consulting and arboriculture. I am a Society of American Foresters Certified Forester. My wife and I live just south of Waynesboro, Va., with our five children: Levi, Isaac, Moriah, Judah and Silas. Prior to my position here, my family and I spent five years in ministry, two of those years as missionaries in rural Jamaica. I would love to partner with you to help make your next tree and shrub establishment project a success.
Manager of Human Resources & Administration
I joined Conservation Services in 2018 to use my favorite parts of my career in human resources, organizational development, training, environmental and safety, writing and office management for a growing company that does something important for our community and environment. I am looking forward to working with current and future employees and customers as part of the Conservation Services team. After having spent the last many years living and working around the US, I am very happy to be back in the Shenandoah Valley where I grew up. I live in Staunton with my husband, Jason, where we enjoy spending time with family and friends, in what we believe to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I started working at Conservation Services, Inc. in February 2012. During my time here, I have held many job titles including Warehouse Associate, Warehouse Supervisor, and my current position of Project Coordinator. It is very gratifying for me to do my part to get tree planting projects in the ground. During my tenure at Conservation Services I have had the privilege to see many different aspects of what it takes to get a project completed. I try to put all this experience and knowledge into all the projects that I work on. I met the woman who would become my wife in the Environmental Science program at Ferrum College. Tiffany and I graduated together in 2010 with a degree in Environmental Science. We live in Waynesboro with our son Jonah and have tried to share our love of nature and the environment with him.

Afterwards, I worked with the American Conservation Experience (ACE) performing trail maintenance and invasive species control in Pigsah National Forest and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park . Once my term with ACE was over I worked for James Madison University as an Invasive Species Management Lead worker were I performed a multitude of tasks that include counting, photographing, and identifying every tree on JMU’s main campus (yes every tree) as well as being a founding member of JMU’s tree campus USA, and maintaining the health of campus trees.
